Citizenship By Investment

Citizenship by Investment (CBI) is the process by which a foreigner receives citizenship in another country in exchange for an investment in that country. This is a regulated process that offers various options for contributions in form of a cash donation (to a country’s national fund), or purchase of pre-approved real estate. In exchange for investing in a country, an applicant will receive citizenship and a passport.

Golden Visas

“Golden Visas” is a term used to describe collectively various Residency by Investment (RBI) programs offered by countries around the world. A country with an RBI program provides foreigners the opportunity to receive residency in exchange for payment, typically in the form of a cash donation with the purchase of real estate, or by investing in the real estate alone. A foreigner who becomes a resident of another country through its respective Golden Visa program is granted a pathway to citizenship later on.
