Dominica Citizenship by Investment Options

 

1.      Donation

  • ·       The donation option involves making a monetary investment in the country’s Economic Diversification Fund (EDF), a government fund which is directed toward the Dominica economy (investments typically fund hospitals, schools, local businesses, etc.). 
  • ·       Donation amounts are as follows:
  • o   $100,000 USD (For single applicant)
  • o   $150,000 USD (For main applicant and spouse)
  • o   $175,000 USD (For a family of four)
  • o   $25,000 USD (Per dependent, excluding siblings)
  • o   $25,000 USD (For each dependent sibling under 18 years old)
  • o   $50,000 USD (For each dependent sibling 18-25 years old)

 

2.      Investment in Real Estate

  • ·       Foreigners can receive citizenship from Dominica by purchasing pre-approved real estate on the island. Ownership must be maintained for a minimum of three or five years after naturalization. Once that time have passed post-naturalization, the property is eligible to be sold. 
  • ·       Pricing for the Real Estate option is as follows:
  • o   $200,000 USD (Minimum investment value of selected property)

  • ·       In addition to the Real Estate cost above, a government fee is applied as follows:
  • o   $25,000 USD (For single applicant)
  • o   $35,000 USD (For main applicant and spouse)
  • o   $35,000 USD (For family up to four)
  • o   $50,000 USD (For six-person family) 
  • o   $50,000 USD (For 7+ person family) 
  • o   $25,000 USD (For each dependent sibling under 18)
  • o   $50,000 USD (For each dependent sibling 18-25)

 

Please note that, in addition to the above investment amounts for the two options to Dominica citizenship, all applicants are also responsible for the following fees:

 

  • ·       $1000 USD (Processing per application)
  • ·       $250 USD (Naturalization Certificate)
  • ·       $7,500 USD (Due diligence cost for main applicant)
  • ·       $4,000 USD (Due diligence cost for spouse of main applicant)
  • ·       $4,000 USD (Due diligence cost per dependent age 16+)

 

 

 

Eligibility Requirements for Dominica Citizenship by Investment

 

All applicants for citizenship via the Dominica CBI program must fulfill the following criteria:

·       Pass a complete security/due diligence check

·       Be without a criminal history

·       Demonstrate the origin of any money used toward their CBI investment 

·       The main applicant must be age 18+
